The Clinical Specialist, Technical Support and Educational role, is responsible for the clinical support of all incoming clinical and technical services and needs. This role will also provide education in the Orlando Ossur Academy Facility, developing content for virtual and in person trainings, for Ossur employees and customers. This person is responsible for the clinical development and knowledge of the O&P customers and sales team. Responsible to develop in depth of knowledge, expertise, and ability to effectively demonstrate the full range of products and services offered by Össur relative to Prosthetics. Must work with sales team to coordinate and execute training events in Ossur Orlando. This includes but is not limited to planning and conducting clinical workshops for customers, sales, and marketing team members, supporting the virtual educational platform, and working with the collective Orlando Team. They will respond to technical inquires associated with product returns, concerns and complaints assisting the customer with a solution. Organization and presentation skills are critical for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Assists all incoming clinical and technical calls from Area Sales Manager’s, Regional Sales managers, Marketing Team.
- Assists all incoming clinical and technical calls from O&P customers and allied health professionals.
- Responsible for educating Customer Care on Ossur products and supporting Customer them in understanding the details of technical inquiries, complaints, and clinical feedback from customers.
- Responsible for working with the Director of OA to execute Professional Development (New Hire Training). Ensures newly hired Area Sales Managers within the US & Canada to meet technical competency standards.
- Deliver high level demonstrations and lectures on Ossur’s full range of Prosthetic products in multiple settings, including virtual and on-site, utilizing Ossur’s Educational Studio.
- Responsible for coordination of all Market Acceptance Testing (MAT) of new Ossur product
- Responsible for maintaining their professional accreditation and standards.
- Maintains industry leading professional and technical knowledge of Ossur and other manufacturers products.
- Attending educational and professional workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.
- Reporting on all customer engagement and activity, utilizing Salesforce as the platform of all communications.
- Evaluates and implement programs to reduce product returns.
- Maintain a healthy working relationship with the entire Ossur Clinical, Sales and marketing Teams.
- Contribute to the collective knowledge, skill, and experience of the clinical team.
- All employees must be aware, have knowledge and shall have received general training in Quality requirements of Össur. Training takes place in the Onboarding process and in New Employee Orientation. More specific Quality training is job specific.
- All training related to the quality management system is done in accordance with the Training Management Process (QM1681).
- Exercises good use of company funds and property within the set guidelines. Maintains an honest and professional attitude as the company’s representative at all times.
- Contributes to a safe working environment by maintaining own workspace and reporting any potential hazards.

Qualifications:
- Clinician must reside in Orlando, FL (commutable distance).
- Must demonstrate good presentation skills.
- Computer literacy: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Salesforce, Highspot.
- Minimum 5 years post-certification experience.
- Demonstrate proficient knowledge and use of Ossur products.
- ABC Certified Prosthetist (CP) or Prosthetist/Orthotist (CPO).
- Maximum travel requirement is 50%.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $90,000 - $105,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
